Nature of Service

BloodBridge is a platform designed to connect voluntary blood donors with individuals or organizations in need of blood. BloodBridge does not operate as a medical provider or blood bank, and cannot guarantee the availability, quality, or suitability of donors or recipients.

Eligibility to Use

• Users must be at least 18 years old to register as donors.
• Individuals seeking blood must provide accurate, complete, and verifiable information regarding their requirements.
• BloodBridge reserves the right to verify the identity of users and deny access if any information provided is deemed false or misleading.

Responsibilities of Donors and Recipients

• Donors must ensure they meet the health criteria for donating blood, as per national or international health guidelines.
• Recipients are responsible for ensuring compatibility and consulting medical professionals before proceeding.
• BloodBridge is not liable for any medical or health complications arising from donations or transfusions facilitated through the platform.

Transportation and External Issues

BloodBridge solely facilitates connections between donors and recipients. We are not responsible for any problems or incidents occurring during transportation or other external circumstances, including but not limited to:

• Accidents or any delays while traveling to or from the donation site.
• Accidents or any delays while traveling to or from the donation site.
• Any disputes or inconveniences occurring outside the direct use of the BloodBridge platform.

Users must make their own arrangements and take necessary precautions to ensure their safety and convenience. BloodBridge shall not be held liable for any losses, injuries, or damages resulting from such external factors.

Privacy and Data Use

• BloodBridge collects personal data, including contact details and medical information, to facilitate donor-recipient connections. By using our platform, you consent to this data collection and usage.
• We prioritize user privacy and BloodBridge will not share your information with third parties without your consent, except as required by law.

Fraud Prevention and Reporting

Users must immediately report any suspicious activities, such as false donor information or fraudulent blood requests. BloodBridge reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts involved in suspicious activities.

Limitations and Liability

BloodBridge provides its services on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to the platform.

• BloodBridge is not responsible for:
  • Health complications resulting from blood donations or transfusions.
  • The accuracy or reliability of user-provided information.
  • Misuse of information by third parties.
  • Delays or failures in connecting donors and recipients.

Users agree to indemnify BloodBridge against any claims or liabilities arising from their use of the platform.

Prohibited Activities

• Users must not:
  • Provide false or misleading information.
  • Use the platform for commercial purposes or personal gain.
  • Engage in harassment or discrimination against other users.
  • Attempt to exploit or misuse BloodBridge’s platform in any way.

Platform Maintenance and Service Interruptions

BloodBridge may occasionally undergo maintenance or experience downtime. BloodBridge is not liable for any inconvenience or disruption caused during such periods.

Fees and Payments

BloodBridge currently offers its services free of charge. However, BloodBridge reserves the right to introduce services fees in the future with prior notice to users.

Intellectual Property

All content, logos, and trademarks on the BloodBridge platform are the property of BloodBridge. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of this content is prohibited.

Feedback and Suggestions

By submitting feedback or suggestions, users grant BloodBridge the right to use, modify, or implement their ideas without compensation or acknowledgement.

Modification of Terms

BloodBridge reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the platform after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Termination of Access

BloodBridge reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to its platform for any user who violates these Terms or engages in activities deemed harmful to the platform or its users.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangladesh.
